Mr. Zimpritsch (Ernie) is Vice President, and has been with Calderone Associates for 10 years. Having a B.A. from Baruch College and a Mechanical Engineering degree from New York City Community College, he began a career as a draftsman at the "old" Armor Elevator Company, later working for 20 years with a prominent engineering firm as a designer. Ernie’s vast expertise in elevator design and elevator system "know-how" is based on experience in a diversity of private and public sector projects. As a seasoned elevator consultant and a mentor, he is also a key designer responsible for a variety of complex projects. He is QEI Certified by the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities to perform elevator and escalator safety inspections nationally.
